Brian Neilson earned a B.A. in English at the University of Southern California. He lived in Florence, Italy for three years while earning a diploma from the University of Perugia and teaching at the American Institute. He has also taught at the University of California at Berkeley, the University of California Extension program and at Doposcuola Italiana in San Francisco. Mr. Neilson received the Sarlo Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching for the 2005-2006 year.
