Sonja Neblett has studied conducting with David Lawton and Arthur Weisberg, piano with Gilbert Kalish and Dalcroze Eurythmics with Inda Howland and later Lisa Parker and Anne Farber at the Longy School of Music. Neblett holds a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.M. from SUNY-Stony Brook. She formerly taught musicianship at both schools and at Brooklyn College.
