Former member of the Amor Musica Chamber Players and the Chrysanthemum Ragtime Band, pianist Scott Foglesong has given numerous solo recitals and chamber music performances. He has appeared with the Francesco Trio, Chanticleer, and members of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, as well as being a featured soloist on World Explorer Cruises. He is on the faculty of the Fall Freshman Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Foglesong has contributed program notes for the San Francisco Symphony as well as articles on music for diverse publications. He studied piano with Elizabeth Katzenellenbogen and Konrad Wolff at the Peabody Conservatory, after pre-college study with Bernhard Weiser and Max Lanner. Mr. Foglesong received his B.M. and M.M. at the Conservatory, where his teachers were Beatrice Beauregard and Nathan Schwartz for piano and Laurette Goldberg for harpsichord.
